Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Fireboy, Tems, make NAACP Image Awards List

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) award list for the “Outstanding International Song” category is dominated by top Nigerian A-list musicians.

The NAACP has nominated Davido’s “Stand strong” featuring the Sunday Service Choir, Fireboy DML, Shenseea, and Chris Brown’s “Diana,” Tems’ “No Woman No Cry,” Wizkid’s “Bad to Me,” and Burna Boy’s “Last Last” in the category of “Outstanding International Song.”

Tems was nominated for three excellent awards in total.

The other two are for her joint work on Beyonce’s “Move” and Future’s “Wait for U” in the categories of “Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration” and “Outstanding Hip Hop/Rap Song,” respectively.

Additionally nominated in the category of “Outstanding Male Artiste” was Burna Boy’s album “Love, Damini.”

Numerous other international musicians, including Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, Chris Brown, Rihanna, and Future, were also nominated in other categories.

The Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Los Angeles will host an event on February 25 where winners will be announced.
