UEFA Champions League Final Enlist Burna Boy Performance in Istanbul
One of the featured performers at this year’s UEFA Champions League final is Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy. The governing body of football in Europe declared on Thursday morning.
On June 10, the championship game will take place in Istanbul, Turkey.
“Great news! The self-described “African Giant,” @burnaboy, will sing at the Champions League final in Istanbul alongside another incredible headliner, according to a UEFA release featuring a teaser video.
Last month at NBA All-Star Weekend, Burna Boy, Tems, and Rema all gave performances at an Afrobeats-themed halftime show.
As Afrobeats continue to spread across the globe, Davido featured at the 2022 FIFA World Cup final in front of more than 80,000 spectators at the Lusail Iconic Stadium in Qatar.
