At WSP USA, a renowned engineering, environmental, and professional services company, Tyler P. Jones has been promoted to the position of Water National Business Line Executive. Jones will take over as leader on January 1, 2023.

In his new position, Jones will organize and position the company for success, connect with clients and prospects, work with partners and peers, and develop the firm’s brand authority in the market. Before taking on his current leadership position, Jones was the Central Gulf Coast region manager for the Environment and Infrastructure (E&I) division of the John Wood Group, a September acquisition by WSP of the international infrastructure design, consulting, and construction management organization. Prior to that, he led a business line for a large, integrated provider of professional and technical services in the Central United States.

According to Lou Cornell, president and CEO of WSP USA, “Tyler has almost three decades of industry experience and is an experienced leader who will drive development and operational excellence to meet WSP’s ambitious goals in the vitally important Water sector, “Tyler has been a good fit for our team since joining WSP in September when E&I was acquired. We anticipate his leadership in the coming year.”

Tyler P. Jones has 27 years of expertise as a professional consultant in the fields of program management, environmental remediation, disaster recovery, and infrastructure design and construction management. He also boasts senior leadership skills and operational knowledge for the delivery of government projects and programs across the country in the areas of water and transportation.

This new opportunity to concentrate on major clients and growth plans in the vitally important U.S. Water sector, as well as to collaborate with such outstanding experts at WSP, has energized Jones, she added.

Tyler P. Jones holds a master’s degree in geochemistry from Temple University and a bachelor’s degree in environmental geology from Millsaps College. He is a certified project management professional by the Project Management Institute and a licensed professional geologist in Texas and Tennessee.
