Rapper Ice Prince was arrested, and Tuface Idibia criticizes the Nigerian Police for the action.

Tuface Idibia, a Legendary musician from Nigeria, has demanded the release of Ice Prince his industry colleague, Panshak Zamani.

The Oleku singer was detained early on Friday, September 2, on suspicion of kidnapping and assaulting a police officer in the state of Lagos.

The musician was remanded to the Ikoyi Correctional Center by a magistrate court in Lagos State’s Ajah region for allegedly assaulting a police officer.

He was charged by the Lagos State Police Command with three offences involving assault, obstruction, and kidnapping of a police officer.

Ice Prince entered a not guilty plea after having the counts read to him.

He was subsequently granted bail by Magistrate Taiwo Oyaniyi in the amount of N500,000 and was ordered to produce two trustworthy sureties for the court.

As the rapper Ice Prince will remain in custody until his bail requirement is satisfied, the magistrate ruled. He then put the case’s remaining proceedings on hold until September 7.

On Saturday, September 3, Tuface demanded the release of Ice Prince on his Instagram story by saying.

“Has it become a crime to be a young person in this country?” TuFace wrote. “Every protest and struggle is also for you to have better pay, equipment and proper retirement benefits. #FreeIcePrince” The singer added.
