‘This is stranger than fiction,’ says Dele Momodu after Banky W’s controversial primary loss
Dele Momodu, the publisher of Ovation magazine, has consoled Banky W, the singer-turned-politician who lost the PDP primary contest in Eti-Osa.
Recall that Deji Adeyanju, an activist and convener of Concerned Nigerians, reported that Banky W was denied the PDP ticket despite being declared the winner for the party’s House of Representatives candidate in the impending 2023 elections.
“The PDP is cursed,” Deji Adeyanju tweeted. According to their latest nefarious ploy, Banky W did not receive the ticket; all they care about is money… Kai, I’ve had it with this country. We’ve gotten ourselves into a severe problem. Our children’s generation is in jeopardy.”
Dele Momodu, who recently purchased the N40 million presidential form of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, tweeted a video footage of himself consoling Banky W and commented that his case is ‘stranger than fiction’ in response to the sad news.
“Just ran into my very dear Brother MR BANKOLE WELLINGTON and what he’s telling me is stranger than fiction…”,he captioned on his instagram post.
Dele Momodu however encouraged Banky W in the video clip, saying, “Don’t worry,”
