Tems, Rihanna’s “Lift Me Up” Others Bag 2023 Golden Globes Nomination

The song “Lift Me Up,” which was co-written by Rihanna, Tems, Ludwig Göransson, and Ryan Coogler for the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” album, has been nominated for a 2023 Golden Globe Award for “Best Original Song, Motion Picture.”
This comes after the nominations for the 80th annual Golden Globe Awards were announced on Monday.
Marvel Studios responded to the nomination by congratulating the musicians and songwriters on their nomination for the coveted prize in a tweet.
“Congratulations to Tems, Rihanna, Ryan Coogler and Ludwig Göransson for their Golden Globe Nomination for Best Original Song.”
Four other films, including “Carolina” (Where the Crawdads Sing), “Ciao Papa” (Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio), “Hold My Hand” (Top Gun: Maverick), and “Naatu Naatu,” (RRR) were also up for the award alongside “Lift Me Up”.
The Golden Globe announced that on January 10, 2023, the winners will be revealed during a live broadcast by NBC and Peacock from the Beverly Hilton, which would be hosted by American stand-up comedian Jerrod Carmichael in the United States.
