Portable ask Davido for forgiveness over Osun election controversy
Davido is kindly asked to pardon Portable for the Osun election controversy.
Following the conflict that occurred between them during the Osun gubernatorial election months ago, music artist Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has pleaded for Davido’s pardon.
Recall that Davido backed Ademola Adeleke, his uncle and the eventual winner of the election under Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), whereas Portable supported Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Portable had criticized Davido at the time for unfollowing him on Instagram because of his support for Oyetola.
“Once more, my dad is not a wealthy man. I was raised in poverty but was able to make my family prosperous. As a result, help those who help you. They unfollowed us right away,” he had claimed.
Portable recently apologized on Instagram and begged Davido for forgiveness.
“Accept your pass without regrets handle your present with confidence face your future without fear…Akoi apologies to @davido. We no get any issue. Akoi loyalty. Won ti settle eh,” he wrote.
Olabode Thomas-Fagbayi, the Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu, gave him the order to seek Davido for forgiveness for his actions during the election, and that is when he made his apologies.
