Peace Ewomazino Efih joins Sporting Braga from the Super Falcons

Sporting Braga Feminino of Portugal’s Women’s National Championship has announced the permanent acquisition of Nigerian midfielder Peace Ewomazino Efih.
“The Nigerian international, only 22 years old, is yet another attacking option for coach Gonçalo Nunes.
“Peace Ewomazino Efih already works with the rest of the SC Braga squad and may be an option for next Sunday’s game against CA Ouriense,” the club statement read.
She signed a two-year deal with a one-year option when she left Israeli club Kiryat Gat to join the Portuguese team.
Before relocating abroad in 2019, Efih played for Edo Queens and Rivers United in the Nigeria Women’s Football League.
Her first experience with European football was with the Spanish club Sporting de Huelva, where she spent a year before switching to another club in Spain.
The 22-year-old joined to Zaragoza CFF in 2020, and after a year there, he traveled to Israel with F.C. Kiryat Gat.
Peace Ewomazino Efih scored a goal for Nigeria against Burundi while playing for the Super Falcons, who placed fourth at the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
