My interest in 10th Senate Presidency Not Yet Declared: Lawan
Ahmad Lawan, President of the Senate, claims that he has not yet entered the race for the position of President of the 10th National Assembly.
This was said by Mr. Lawan in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.
“I’ve seen certain news reports claiming that I’ve entered the campaign for the 10th Senate Presidency.
“Normally I wouldn’t have commented to these claims, but when lies go unchallenged, they tend to give the impression that they are true.
Truth be told, I’ve never spoken to or told anyone about
conducted a meeting with anyone who has claimed that I’m running for the 10th Senate’s presidency, therefore the general public should disregard those claims.
“The fact remains that I am part of the leadership of our great party, the APC, seeking to find solutions to the numerous issues arising from the contests for the leadership of the 10th National Assembly, and I will continue to remain focused on that,” he stated.
