Kendrick Lamar has finally debuted the music video for the tune from his most recent album, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,” “We Cry Together,” which has been a fan favorite for five months. Kendrick Lamar produced a short film for the piece that captures its heated discussion and features actress Taylour Paige.
Taylour Paige disclosed that there was a short film to accompany “We Cry Together” shortly after the publication of “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,” and that back in June it was exclusively presented in Los Angeles for other celebrities and business insiders. Since then, Kendrick Lamar supporters have been anxiously awaiting the release of the official visuals to the broader public.

Both Kendrick Lamar and Taylour physically portray the song’s violence and animosity in the short film, which was previously something listeners could only envision when first hearing it on the album. After the movie came out, it became a top trending subject on social media and sparked a heated discussion.
Despite the fact that Kendrick Lamar only recently released “We Cry Together,” the music video for the song was actually shot live on March 15, 2020, right at the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak. The movie was directed by Dave Free and Jake Schreier, who founded pgLang with Kendrick.
Other Kendrick news includes the fact that he previously ranked among the musicians with the most MTV VMA nominations this year.
