Mr. Eazi earned double Grammy certifications
Nigerian Afrobeat songwriter, christened Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, also known by his stage name Mr. Eazi, has bagged two Grammy certifications for his work on two projects that won awards.
On his Instagram feed, Mr. Eazi posted a picture of the two Grammy certifications to announce the good news.
The singer received recognition for his involvement on the Grammy-winning songs “Mother Nature” by Angelique Kidjo and “Music Is A Weapon (Reloaded)” by Major Lazer.
For Major Lazer’s “Music Is A Weapon (Reloaded),” which won the Grammy for Best Dancehall/Electronic Music Album, Mr. Eazi contributed to the lyrics and composition.
He also appeared on the song “Africa, One of a Kind” from Angelique Kidjo’s album “Mother Nature,” that won the Grammy for Best Global Music Album.
