Morocco Received Praise from CAF for 4th at the World Cup in Qatar

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) hailed Morocco’s Atlas Lion, which placed fourth at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The African giants had a historic performance as they became the first country from their continent to get to the competition quarterfinal.
On Saturday, Morocco was vying for third place, but Croatia defeated them 2-1 in the third-place playoff game.
Following the game, CAF praised the Moroccans on social media.

The only time the Atlas Lions have ever competed at the World Cup was in the Round of 16, where they fell to West Germany 1-0.
Other African nations that attended Qatar 2022 included Cameroon, Ghana, Senegal, and Tunisia.
Today (Sunday), the World Cup championship between France and Argentina will be decided in the final of the Qatar event.
