Mo Salah Commits Future To Liverpool With New Contract Signing

Mohammed Salah Of Egypt

Mo Salah‘s contract extension with Liverpool until June 2025 has resolved their protracted dispute.

Mohammed Salah was approached by Liverpool about a new contract in 2021, but negotiations did not go as planned because his existing contract was slated to expire in 2023.

The 30-year-old agreed to terms with the club that are thought to be close to £400,000 per week for the rest of his career.

Salah has always stated that he would want to remain in Merseyside, where he has established himself as a local legend since joining AS Roma in 2017.

Meanwhile Liverpool FC share the information via their verified microblogging platform twitter and said “Our Egyptian King is here to stay”

The forward for Liverpool said, “I feel terrific and [I] am excited to win trophies with the club,” in order to show his happiness. Everyone is happy on this joyous day.

I believe that renewing takes some time, but now that everything is over, all that is left is to concentrate on what comes next.

“I think it’s clear that the team has been improving over the past five or six years.” Last year, we came very close to winning four, but regrettably, we lost two trophies in the final week of the campaign,” he remarked.

We are well-positioned to battle for everything, I believe. New signings have also been made. Just keep up the good work, have a clear goal in mind, stay optimistic, and go for everything again.

Salah joined Liverpool in a transfer from AS Roma in June 2017, and the Egyptian striker had an immediate effect, scoring 44 goals in all competitions in his first season.

With 32 of those coming from the Premier League, the division’s record for most goals scored in a season of 38 games was set.
