Messi To Spend Extra Year with PSG

Lionel Messi, the World Cup champion from Argentina, intends to continue playing for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), according to a report from the French newspaper Le Parisien on Wednesday.
The club and the superstar’s father and agent, Jorge Messi, came to a fundamental understanding about an extension of his current contract, which was due to end in the summer of 2023, by at least one season.
Messi transferred from Barcelona to PSG in 2021. The Argentine has stated numerous times that he would make a decision about his future following the World Cup in Qatar.
In addition to being frequently linked with a move back to Barcelona, Messi reportedly held talks with MLS team Inter Miami.
PSG, funded by Qatar, has the most financial resources, nevertheless.
