Karim Benzema wins Ballon d’Or 2022
This year 2022 Ballon d’Or winner is Karim Benzema, the captain of Real Madrid.
The Frenchman won it during a brilliant season leading the attack for Real Madrid as they won LaLiga and the Champions League in 2022.
In addition, Benzema received awards for being the top scorer in the Champions League, La Liga, and UEFA Player of the Year.
At the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, France, former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane gave the award.
Sadio Mane of Bayern Munich finished second to Benzema.
Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City and Robert Lewandowski finished third and fourth, respectively.
