Israeli Army Shoot Palestinian Teenage in West Bank
Bullets fired by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank gravely injured a three-year-old Palestinian boy and also hit a father.
Palestinian officials and the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) released statements on Friday.
According to a hospital spokesman, the child’s status was critical.
The injured, a father and his kid, were reportedly in a car when they came under fire, according to the Palestinian authorities.
While his son was transported by helicopter to an Israeli hospital, the 40-year-old guy was gravely hurt and brought to a Ramallah hospital.
According to the IDF, it was responding to an attack on an Israeli settler-occupied village that had come under fire.
The IDF released a blurry video footage that was supposed to show the assailants.
The IDF regrets inflicting harm on civilians and is dedicated to doing everything in its power to stop such instances.
It stated that the event was being investigated and added that military were looking for the attackers.
With frequent incidents between Palestinians and the Israeli military in the West Bank, the security situation in Israel and the Palestinian Territories has been very severe for months.
Since the beginning of 2023, the Israeli army has killed 118 Palestinians, while Palestinian attacks have claimed the lives of 18 Israelis, one Ukrainian, and one Italian.
During the 1967 Six-Day War, Israel seized control of the Palestinian areas of the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
