In six months, Nigerians will recognize the All Progressives Congress-led administration, according to President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd).
In addition to announcing that there will be no meddling in the 2023 elections, the President made this statement at the State House on Tuesday, where he also welcomed members of the Progressive Governors’ Forum led by its chairman and Governor of Kebbi State, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.
Nigerians would be able to vote for anybody they desired, according to Buhari.
In his words Buhari said, “I want Nigerians to know that we respect them and for us to show that we will allow them to vote who they want.”
He expressed optimism that the 2023 polls would be transparent as a result of the elections in the states of Ekiti and Osun.
We all saw what occurred in the states of Anambra, Ekiti, and Osun. I have a lot of hope that we are succeeding because of what transpired in those states, Buhari stated.
Additionally, President Buhari promised that his administration would not allow the wealthy to employ physical, verbal, or financial intimidation to sway the outcome of the general election.
We won’t permit anyone to intimidate other Nigerians by using their power or personal wealth. We do not tolerate physical, verbal, or financial intimidation. This type of leadership has the potential to develop and strengthen our country.
Nigerians will recognize the APC-led administration’s sincerity and respect in six months.
