“I will leave this world as a legend” – Masterkraft react to Headies Snub
Following the announcement of the 15th Headies Award winners on Sunday, well-known Nigerian producer Masterkraft expressed disappointment that his contribution to the country’s music industry had gone unnoticed.
Masterkraft claimed that despite working with Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, and Olamide to produce songs for them, the Headies haven’t given him the credit he deserves. He did, however, extend his congratulations to Sarz, a coworker who on Sunday received Producer of the Year for his work on the song “Monalisa” by Lojay.
Masterkraft, a music producer pour out his mind via his verified microblogging platform, calling out the Headies snub over his effort and contribution to Nigeria Music Industry
He stated:
And while I can … I have been a blessing to this Naija music industry for years and will forever be a legend to anybody who chooses to be excellent , exceptional and special in the music space of this continent …. And while the @The_Headies have chose to ignore me for years …
I will never give up or quit !!! I’m gonna forever leave this world a legend and a blessing to many … !!!
