I had an Abortion for Sarkodie – Yvonne Nelson
Popular Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson described how her ex-boyfriend Sarkodie got her pregnant and persuaded her to have the abortion even though she didn’t want to.
The actress revealed it in her recently published memoir, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,” saying she had to deal with an unforeseen pregnancy and a difficult decision to abort it.
In the book’s “A Difficult Decision” chapter, Yvonne Nelson also recalled the emotional suffering she had to endure as a result of Sarkodie’s refusal to take responsibility for the pregnancy.
She went on to say that Sarkodie made the decision—which she later admitted she regrets—because he refused to be in charge of her child since he was seeing someone else.
To validate what becomes the most obvious conclusion for a sexually active young woman who misses her monthly flow, I had taken a pregnancy test. I was with Karen at the time. Additionally, I lacked the strength to open the test results when they were ready. She did so and gave the ruling.
