I do not want to be Nigerian President because I’m desperate – Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, declared on Friday that he is not seeking the presidency out of desperation.
Mr Obi made the remark on Friday during an intercession with Channels Television’s Politics Today program.
Mr Obi claims that he switched to the Labour Party from the Peoples Democratic Party because the former party (PDP) no longer shared his political convictions.
Mr Peter Obi said :
“I’m not desperate to be President or anything,” he said. “I’m desperate to see Nigeria work. Especially for the youths of this country.
“I’ve moved to where I think the process might allow me.
“I would rather lose doing the right thing than win doing the wrong thing. My politics have been consistent in character and integrity.”
Remembering Mr Peter Obi has been contesting for the presidential seat under PDP for a long time, he has even volunteered to be Vice President under Atiku’s administration if he emerge the president of the nation but APC wins automatically brought Buhari to the seat making him rule Nigeria for 8 years now.
