Future Closes An 8-Figure Deal To Sell His Publishing Catalog

Life is Good! It appears that Future, who frequently makes financial plays, did so again. Variety claims that Future has sold the whole catalog of his Grammy-winning publications from 2004 until 2020. According to reports, Future received an eight-figure payout from the new owners, Influence Media Partners. Although the precise sum of money he was paid has not been made public, the acquisition did contain 612 of Future’s albums, including well-known songs like “Jumpman,” “Mask Off,” and “Life Is Good.”

Influence Media partner and founding advisor Rene McLean commented on the acquisition, saying, “Future is a cultural icon. His prolific career and continued popularity more than 15 years into the game is a testament to his undeniable influence on the contemporary music and culture landscape. We’re honored to be partnered with him.”
Additionally, the American rapper spoke briefly about the agreement.
“I put everything into my music, and I wanted to make sure these were in good hands as I thought about the next chapter of these songs. I’m proud to partner up with Rene and the team at Influence Media and send a signal that this music has timeless value. My music is my art, and these songs represent some of the most precious artwork of my career.”
Eight studio albums, four joint albums, one reissued album, one soundtrack, 16 mixtapes, four promotional mixtapes, and 114 singles have all been released by Future. Six of Future’s eight studio albums have debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200, and he has 69 as a featured artist.
