Davido Sets New Album Release Date
International Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, revealed the date of the release of his eagerly awaited album on Tuesday.
The singer returned with a video announcing his new project a few days after removing a number of images and videos from his Instagram page.
On March 31st, his fourth studio album, titled “Timeless,” will be made available.
“Everything has its proper time. A time for mourning and a time for recovery. A time for dancing and laughter. There is a time to speak and a time to be silent, the caption read.
“I want to thank everyone for their love and support, which have kept me going. Thank you for your love, messages, gifts, and concerts you all hosted while I was away. I value everything. I want to point out to everyone that what is Timeless now was once something new. New is needed now. On March 31, my new album TIMELESS will be available.”
As a result of the unfortunate passing of his son Ifeanyi, Davido has been absent from the music industry for a while.
The singer’s three-year-old child, whom he shares with his fiancée, Chioma Rowland, drowned in a pool at his Lagos home in October 2022 and passed away.
