Davido said “Drake Play Pivotal role in Global Afrobeats Spotlight”

Afrobeats musician David Adeleke, often known as Davido, who has won numerous awards, claims that Canadian rapper Drake was instrumental in bringing Afrobeats into the public eye on a global scale.
This was said by Davido while responding to inquiries in an interview with Bootleg Kev Podcast that was released on Tuesday.
There are many claims that “Afrobeats was definitely popular before Drake,” but since Drake is Drake, I’d be lying if I said he didn’t give the genre some attention, and you know it was amazing. The singer said, “He’s done some fantastic records.”
Drake has appeared in a few Afrobeat songs, notably Tems’ Fountains and Wikzid’s “come closer” and “Ojuelegba remix.”
