Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman appointed as Saudi Arabia’s PM by Father King Salman

According to the Saudi Press Agency, King Salman ordered the nomination of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as Saudi Arabia’s prime minister on Tuesday.
However, a Royal Decree stipulates that the King will preside over the weekly Cabinet meeting, to which he is invited.
The nomination of the Crown Prince was made possible by waiving the requirements of Article 56 of the Basic Law of Governance and the pertinent clauses in the Law of the Council of Ministers.
The King reorganized the Council of Ministers, which is presided over by the Crown Prince, in another royal decree.
Prince Khalid Bin Salman was appointed defense minister by a royal decree that King Salman also issued. The new minister of education has been named as Yousef Bin Abdullah Al-Benyan.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Investment, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, and Minister of Finance are the ministers who will remain in their positions.
