Cop Gundown Knife Attacker after Stabbing 6 People in Train station in France
An unprovoked attack with a knife in France‘s popular Gare du Nord railway station left six people injured before the attacker was reportedly shot by police.
The French interior minister stated that the incident occurred early on Wednesday.
It was discovered that the individual attacked multiple people, including a police officer, at around 6:43 in the morning with a “bladed weapon.” At the scene, Gerald Darmanin spoke with reporters. He claimed the unidentified attacker was currently in a hospital “between life and death.”
Several passengers and a border police officer were among the injured, according to officials, the AP news reported.
The police was stabbed in the back by the attacker, but a bulletproof vest protected him, according to Darmanin. Another victim received a major shoulder blade injury and was rushed for medical care.
Darmanin expressed gratitude to the police “for their swift and valiant response.”

Authorities have not yet cited any specific motive, including terrorism.
