The police in Maryland, United States, have announced that their investigators have started looking into reports that several people broke into a gun store and fled with “long firearms.”
Around one in the morning on Friday, at least five suspects are said to have broken into Atlantic Guns in Rockville, Maryland.
The Montgomery County Police Department made this known in a statement, according to Fox News.
The alleged burglars entered the store and stole “large firearms,” according to the police, after a black car slammed into the gun store.
The damage appeared to be minor, according to a Facebook post from Atlantic Guns, which claimed that the same group of people attempted to break into the business on November 20.
“As many of our followers, customers, and friends already know, there was an attempt to make entry into the store last Saturday morning. Unfortunately, what appears to be the same group of individuals returned early this morning and made a successful entry and theft. We are still assessing the damage and missing items which do appear to be minimal overall,” according to Atlantic Guns social media publish.
In order to “control client flow,” the Atlantic Guns store opened on Friday with a constrained capacity and a check-in procedure.
