Basketmouth Part Ways With Wife “An Unavoidable Situation”
Basketmouth, a comedian from Nigeria, has separated from his wife Elsie Okpocha, calling it “an inescapable issue.”
The comedian shared the agonizing choice to end their marriage on his social media accounts on Thursday.
But he said that even as they go their separate ways, they will work together to provide their kids with the care, love, and direction they need.
Basketmouth publish “As much as it pains me to bring my personal life to the public space, this is an unavoidable situation. After much deliberations, my wife and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage.”
“As we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need.”
“We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times. Thank you.”
Janelle, Jason, and Maya are the couple’s three children; they were married in 2010.
