Popular Nigerian singer and politician Bankole Wellington, also known as Banky W, has denied rumors that he has signed Whitemoney, the BBNaija 2021 winner, to his major record label EME.
In a recent interview with Hot FM, Banky W mentioned it and brushed off the rumors. He was very clear that the reality star was not signed because his label was no longer in business.
He claims that since they changed their status from record label to media and marketing agency in 2017, EME no longer signs artists.
He clarified by saying that he simply assisted Whitemoney in obtaining an ambassadorial agreement with one of his corporate customers.
He reiterated once more that he plainly secured Whitemoney an ambassadorial position and did not sign him.
“From being a record label, we became a Media & Marketing Agency.” Banky W discuss further
Whitemoney is an ambassador for a firm, even though I didn’t sign him; rather, we assisted him with an influencer arrangement with one of the corporate clients we support. So, we provided him with marketing assistance. We did not sign him.
The reality star, who was ecstatic, shared the good news on his Instagram page.
Whitemoney who exhibited the artist different images as he said it was time for him to release quality songs.

While many people praised him for his new success, others criticized Banky W for signing him.
Well, it appears that everything was a falsehood or a cruise after Banky W disproved it.
