Atiku Abubakar wins the 2023 PDP presidential primary over Wike and Saraki
Atiku, a former vice president and multiple presidential candidate, has emerged as the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate.
Atiku Abubakar became a presidential candidate after receiving 371 votes at the end of the 2023 PDP presidential primary.
Nyesom Wike, the Governor of Rivers State, was defeated with 237 votes.
Bukola Saraki received 70 votes, Sam Ohuanbunwa received 1, Anyim Pius Anyim received 14, Udom Emmanuel received 38 votes, and Bala Mohammed received 20 votes.
