At Kunle Afolayan’s “Anikulapo” Movie Premiere, Yoruba Culture Was Fully on Display

In order to see the debut of Kunle Afolayan‘s “Anikulapo” (he who holds death in his pouch), dignitaries, A-list celebrities, and fans traveled from all over the world.
Sola Sobowale, Bimbo Ademoye, Kunle Remi, Taiwo Hassan, Aisha Lawal, Moji Afolayan, Adebayo Salami, Eyiyemi Afolayan, Ariyiike Dimples, Omo Ologede, Yemi Elebuibon, Hakeem Kae Kazeem, and numerous other stars make up the ideal cast.
A story full of life, love, emotion, beauty, and elegance was once again told by Kunle Afolayan.
The Old Oyo Empire of 1702 is the setting for the famous tale. The idea for Anikulapo was nurtured for three years before it was finally produced, according to prolific filmmaker Tunde Kelani, also known as TK. Being close to Kunle Afolayan, he confirmed that Anikulapo is not just any other movie but one that will leave a lasting impression on its audience, and in fact, viewers at the premiere described Anikulapo as sensational, beautiful, original, emotional, captivating, intriguing, thrilling, and suspense-filled.
Following the screening, attendees gathered in a nearby venue for an after-party to toast the success of the film Anikulapo.
