AIT Founder Raymond Dokpesi Kick Bucket

The media tycoon Raymond Dokpesi has died.
Mr. Dokpesi, the proprietor of DAAR Communications and the owner of Raypower FM and Africa Independent Television, passed away early on Monday in Abuja.
Age-wise, he was 71.
According to a source who spoke to Diasporainfo, Mr. Dokpesi passed away while working out at home on the treadmill.
In a statement on Monday, his son Raymond Dokpesi Jr. confirmed the development.
He stated:
We announce the demise of High Chief Raymond Aleogho Anthony Dokpesi (Ezomo of Weppa-Wanno Kingdom), who died away on May 29, 2023, with great sadness and heavy hearts. High Chief Dokpesi was adored by his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends. All those who knew him will genuinely miss him.
The Dokpesi family is appreciative of the love and support sent to them during this trying time. Please remember us in your prayers and thoughts as we grieve the passing of our patriarch. We also beg for discretion at this time as a family as we grieve.
High Chief Dokpesi was a well-known and successful businessman, an innovator in the media sector, and a philanthropist who devoted his life to serving his nation and society. Because of the difference he made in the lives of so many people, his legacy will endure.
The family will provide more information on the funeral arrangements as soon as possible.
