According to Ancelotti Real Madrid Will Attempt To Beat Liverpool

According to coach Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid will attack Liverpool this week rather than attempting to hold onto its first-leg advantage in the Champions League’s last 16 round.
Holders Madrid thrashed Liverpool 5-2 at Anfield in February, with Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior scoring twice, along with an Eder Militao header, after the hosts had moved two goals ahead.
Ancelotti stated that his squad needed to win against the visitors on Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu in order to advance to the quarterfinals despite having a three-goal lead.
It’s quite straightforward; all we have to do is play our best game possible, similar to how we played in the first leg, Ancelotti told the media.
“Making calculations is not our aim; instead, we must play with all of our might and hope in the hopes of winning the game.”
The Italian coach predicts a close game because his team won’t just sit back and play defense and Liverpool needs to mount a significant comeback.
Ancelotti added, “We’ve looked at what we did in the first leg, and we did a lot of things well, especially in attack.
It’s a good idea to have a backup plan, especially if you’re planning to travel.
“Tomorrow’s game will be open; Liverpool will want to shift the tone of the match, therefore we must excel at both defending and attacking.”
The Madrid striker Karim Benzema was injured on Saturday’s La Liga victory over Espanyol but is now able to play.
The tournament is crucial for both Karim and the club, according to Ancelotti. “Yeah, tomorrow he’s at 100 percent, he trained on Sunday, he’s done terrific sessions, he’s at his best, motivated,” the Italian coach stated.
Antonio Rudiger, a defender for Madrid, said the squad needed to play better defense than it did at Anfield, when Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah scored Liverpool’s first two goals.
Finding the perfect balance and not falling asleep within the first 15 minutes, according to Rudiger, are both crucial.
This is crucial for us because it gives us a chance to win over our supporters and boost our self-confidence in addition to coming out and playing defense and declaring that we are in the lead by three goals.
