6 Africa Nations Bid To Host 2025 Africa Cup Of Nations

According to CAF president Patrice Motsepe, Benin-Nigeria, Algeria, Morocco, South Africa, Zambia are interested in hosting the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in place of Guinea.
Guinea withdrew from hosting the primary African national team competition last year after making little headway in its preparations for the biannual event, which it had been selected to host in 2014.
All of the contenders will be inspected by CAF officials this month, and on February 10 the winners will be revealed.
The prosperous nation or nations, according to South African billionaire businessman Motsepe, would provide the greatest “transport, logistics, hotels, and stunning stadiums.”
“Each region will have the opportunity to host a CAN (Cup of Nations). We are unable to repeatedly assign the same region the CAN organization.”
West Africa includes Benin, Nigeria, and the Ivory Coast, which will host the 2023 Cup of Nations.
