According to Rufai Oseni, 40 Years ago, 1 Pound was 0.8189 naira

The host of Arise TV, Rufai Oseni, has resorted to Twitter to wish for a better Nigeria, by expressing his bitterness when he stumble upon his mothers 1982 passport, Oseni said the FX market was in favor of Nigeria back then in the 1900’s (she got BTA,793 Naira was 650pounds)

Furthermore he said a good leadership for Nigeria will make her a global power in 10 years
