2 Police Officers Reportedly Shot Dead In New Jersey

In Newark, New Jersey, the USA, two police officers were reportedly dead when they engaged a shooter who was firing from a rooftop.
Towards 2.20 pm on Tuesday, the gunman is said to have shot a firearm directly at the cops.
According to information obtained, the incident allegedly occurred in Weequahic, Newark, close to the intersection of Van Velsor Place and Chancellor Avenue.
Despite the presence of FBI agents, ATF agents, and US Marshals, a Fox5NY reporter on the scene claimed that the suspect could not be apprehended at the scene.
On Twitter, Governor Phil Murphy also acknowledged this event and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to assisting law enforcement in keeping state residents safe.
